Free After Rebate: 5-Day Bushnell Weather Forecaster

Head to Walmart to pick up a 5-Day Bushnell Weather Forecaster for $50 (on clearance). Then apply for this $50 mail-in rebate to get the Bushnell Weather Forecaster completely FREE.

This gadget look pretty cute, and may make a nice holiday gift, especially given the rebate limit is three, not just one. When you get to Walmart, try the tool aisle or the section with other outdoor thermometers. You can check out product details here. Thanks, Money Saving Madness!

This rebate and walmart sale has been out for a while now--not sure there will be any left. My walmart (jxn,tn) had a ton about a month ago when the deal first hit the net but as people have been alerted to the deal they are now all gone. I got three. I called customer service and they said that you can get three rebates but EACH one must be mailed in a sep envelope. If they are mailed together you will only get $50 back. Also not sure about using these for holiday gifts as you have to completely open the packaging to cut out the UPC code. But I'm a weather freak so I love the thing and for free it's great.

My step-father wants one of these for Christmas so I'm definitely going to have to do this rebate. Thank you!

I went and bought 3 of these today. There were still a lot left at my local Walmart.

I picked up my three today and they happened to be the last three in the store. Thanks Megan for the tips. I think you can still make a gift out of these as long as you wrap the parts in tissue paper and put in a package of AA batteries. Use your free ones from CVS.

A friend at work and I sent her husband to grab us some today. Yay! I know I will give one to my parents for Christmas, and I may just tell them upfront that I cut off the UPC code so that I could afford to get it for them b/c it is totally up their alley. They won't ask me how much the rebate was for.

Make sure you check the details on this. It gives weather for 150+ cities but the closet city for me is over 50 miles away so it does me no good.

I can't find a place to plug in the electric cord. They seems to have forgotten it. It can only be used with batteries.

Anyone else have this problem? I've checked on both I purchased.

I just went today to my Walmart. Great deal -reg. $99 on clearence for $50 and rebate was tape to it. My Walmart had a ton of these. I found mine in hardware.

Our wal-mart had them on clearance for $40.00, they had all kinds of them. I got one, it won't pick anything up. not sure if we have signal out here. worth checking into first.

We got 3 today for $50 on clearance(if you live in Cincinnati, OH area Florence, KY walmart had about 8 left as of this afternoon with rebate attached). We found them in the hardware section by outdoor thermometers (near fans/paint/lighting etc).

A good idea to not cause "too much" damage if your giving them as a gift like we are...use a box cutter to just cut out the square where UPC is. Takes a little time, but we cut 3 and I only messed up on one (which we intended to keep for ourselves anyway). That way they still look new, just missing that one part.

Pat -- on mine the cord plugs in the back, you need to pull out the stand to see where it plugs in.

Someone else mentioned they couldn't get theirs to work (possibly no signal). Ours is working fine. No problem with signal.

Why can't you send them in the same envelope? One the rebate form it says ___ x $50.00 = _____ and you fill in the blanks. And it is limit 3 per household. Why would you have to mail each one seperately?

If you look at the comments on Money Saving Madness, Michele contacted the rebate company after Megan left that comment on her blog. The 3 rebates are to be submitted together. As you mentioned the form has a place to indicate how many rebates you are requesting.
