That hyperlink is dead.

I just used it to get registered.

How deliciously frustrating. I joined the club only to be informed there are no participating stores near me...but there is one just up the road from my house!! ARGH!

Anonymous said...

I registered but so far havent gotten anything in my email for the
coupon. Not sure if it works or not

No stores listed in my area as well, and we're in the busiest tourist section of Orlando with several DQ's within a 20 mile radius.

I also subscribed, it said there was no stores in my area. I live approximately 3 miles from a Dairy Queen. I believe this is just
a hype. Bad carma for Dairy Queen.
We are leaving on a road trip today and usually stop at a Dairy Queen.....NOT THIS TIME.

I got the same message about no stores near me, but it did still say I was going to get the coupon so you might want to go ahead and finish the process in case you didn't.

What Freebie? - I don't see a Freebie when I'm told there are no DQ's near my home. Ah, but there is... Is this a Scam? I would hope not, but from the previous comments - unfortunately, it looks like it may turn out to be a very true statement.

Anonymous said...

Yep just signed up and nope no DQ near me that is participating!

Anonymous said...

I enrolled for this and was told that there is no DQ near where we stay participating in this programme. We have a DQ which is a mile away. This must be a scam by DQ and I am disappointed.

Anonymous said...

Just a sneaky way to get your email address so they can sell it and make money off of you. Don't waste your energy filling out the form!

Anonymous said...

i work at the local DQ actually. and its not a scam by DQ. yall are dumb. and first of all NOTHING is EVER free. it says buy one get one. which means you spend money. its not free. and even though it may say the stores are not participating they will accept the coupon.

Anonymous said...

I am a DQ operator and take those coupons everyday. It is not just hype or a scam. Find a good DQ in your area and enjoy your blizzards.

Anonymous said...

I tried every DQ listed in their locator link and NONE in the whole city of Las Vegas NV was a participating store. Wonder what they are doing with all the email addresses they are receiving? Selling them?

I agree, I dont think this web site is working, still have not received coupon and finished filling out everything. WHAT A BUMBER!

This stinks..it also said not one close to me and it is 20 min away !! I am going to Sonic or Friendly'S !!!

Anonymous said...

is this real or a scam. lots of others have had my experience: no DQ in my zip. i just had a sundae yesterday at a non-existent DQ???

Anonymous said...

we've been members for a long time and have already received our coupons.....so, no it's not a scam

Anonymous said...

Been a member for a year and receive coupons regularly. Used them twice and NOW THEY WON'T honor them.

I have been a member of the blizard fan club for a long time and yes you will get coupons every now and then for a B1G1.

BUY ONE GET ONE FREE - BY THE TIME I DRIVE TO MY DQ IT HAS COST ME MY TIME AND GAS AND I'M PAYING FOR ONE SO GETTING ONE FREE ISN'T SO HOT OF A DEAL. IM SINGLE SO WHY WOULD I BUY ONE TO GET ONE FREE WHAT GOOD WOULD THE FREE ONE DO ME?

GT said...

it said "buy one get one free" on the original page that linked to this one. So if you're "single" and wouldn't benefit from a BOGO offer, why did you bother clicking on it in the first place?

Anonymous said...

wHAT YOU GUYS DON'T NOTICE IS THST THERE IS PROBALLY ONLY ONE STORE PARTICIPATING THEY DO THIS TO GET YOUR EMAIL THEN WHEN THE LIST IS BIG ENOUGH THEY SELL IT AND MAKE MONEY FROM SELLING THE LIST TO OTHER COMPANIES SO WHAT YOU DID WAS SIGN UP FOR SPAM.....SORRY TO BE THE BEARER OF BAD NEWS BUT YOU OUGHT TO KNOW

Anonymous said...

Not sure what the problem is, but I manage at the local DQ here and we definitely honor these coupons, we get them from customers fairly often. It must just be a bug in the website, or perhaps since there are so many different kinds of Dairy Queens, all of which are franchised, that your local one may indeed choose not to participate. If it's a smaller-scale DQ, the chances are better that it may choose not to.

I swear people... it says under the info you fill out that you will be sent a bogo coupon on your BIRTHDAY. It's not a scam, you just have to be a little patient to get the coupon... unless of course you have a birthday this month :)

Anonymous said...

Nothing is free; I also was told there was no DQ in my area: LIE! But, as workers pointed out, you pay for one to get one; singles should bring a date or starve themselves and consume TWO! It may be a scam, but I have faith DQ will come through on line with a two for one coupon(But I am always the optimist!!)

Anonymous said...

First off it DOES NOT say you will get the coupon on your bday. It says:
A FREE 16 fl. oz. Blizzard Treat with the purchase of another 16 fl. oz. Blizzard Treat email coupon just for joining the Club
Then it goes on to say in addition to that you get, supposedly:

An email coupon on your Birthday and a special surprise every year you are in the Club

SO, why DQ is not sending out these coupons I dont know. But the workers are wrong.

Hyperlink is working and for those who are concerned about e-mail addresses being sold, Ever heard of Yahoo or G-mail?

Anonymous said...

It does say in the small print under your birthdate that you will get your buyone get one free coupon for your birthday.

Anonymous said...

It says you will recieve a coupon just for joining the club. Also for your birthday in fine print. I have sent an email to them to see why I was told there no stores in my area when there are 5 around me.
I also ask for my coupon. Let's see what happens.

I signed up for this, and looked around the site after told I had no stores around me. When I clicked on the DQ locator, it only brought up Minnesota. Hopefully the manager/owner here in Nebraska will accept the coupon!

angwithfreckles said...

I also signed up, but looked around the site. I went through the DQ locator, and it seems that the only ones they have listed are in Minnesota. Hope they'll still honor the coupon here in Nebraska!

You people do realize that Dairy Queens are franchises, right? Not all franchises of a store will run the same specials.... Call your local Dairy Queen and ask if they will accept the coupon (you might be surprised) and if they perhaps are running a special of their own. Dairy Queen is a good company. Huge supporters of Little League Baseball and Softball within communities.

Anonymous said...

I did the same thing as all of you did. I signed up, it told me there were no dairy queens near me when there are actually 5. The next day the email showed up that was supposed to. I thought it was going to do it the same day I signed up. Anyway, I was able to put in my zip code, choose the location that I wanted to use to get my free blizzard, and print the coupon. Don't give up, check on it again!!

Amanda said...

Incase you are buying into all the complaints...here is some possitive news. I signed up, it listed all 6 of the Dairy Queens within 10 miles of me and it emailed me a coupon for a 16oz Blizzard BOGO. Its not a scam and I'm enjoying my blizzard!!

Anonymous said...

they use this to get your email and send you nothing. FRAUD

Anonymous said...

If you read the comments completely, it says there are no "participating" DQs in your area. Franchises are independantly owned and can choose to participate or not. Obviously, some area stores just choose not to participate. Please read thoughly before slamming DQ.JMHO

Anonymous said...

I have two DQs nearby. It would have been nice if i received a coupon after filling out information! I'll think twice about frequenting DQ, now. Myke

Anonymous said...

If the store is a franchise store and not owned by Dairy Queen, they do not have to participate - since DQ made the offer, it is most likely for company owned stores only. Do not be mad at DQ, be mad at the franchise operators who don't choose to participate.

Anonymous said...

You will only get the coupon if the dairy queen is participating in this, if they are not, then you won't get the coupon.
