Kmart & Walmart: Free Air Wick Lumin’Air Flameless Candles

Through 2/2 Kmart has the Air Wick Lumin’Air Flameless Candle on sale for $4.99. Walmart also has these candles on clearance for $4.97. Use the $5/1 coupon from the 12/7 Smart Source insert to get the candle for FREE. You can also get these $5/1 coupons at The Coupon Master but hurry since last I checked there were just 134 coupons left. Coupon expires 1/18.

I tried using this coupon @ Walmart and they wouldn't let me because the candle cost less than the coupon amount. Does that make sense? It cost 4.97 and the coupon was for $5 off. Have you tried to use it?

I got mine at Walmart this weekend. The cashier did note that it was more then the item cost (4.97) but it scanned anyway. I think if the computer will take it it's ok? But I also had a few more items so it didn't throw me into the negative? Maybe try a different cashier?

Also, a little warning about these candles. After I came home and put it together, it started leaking. I didn't realize it until the next day. By then it was too late. It completely RUINED my brand new dining room table and took the stain right off! There is now a perfect WHITE circle on my espresso table :( I called to complain and what did they say? That they wanted to send me a bunch of Airwick coupons. How thoughtful!

Good luck ladies!

Thanks for the heads up on the leak. I got several at Target before Christmas for the same deal. As for the price they should take the amount of the product only.

Let me tell all of you something as a past cashier for Walmart...They are trying to scam you when they say they cannot take this coupon. They can indeed take it. If the item shows as 4.97 or whatever, and your coupon is for 5.00 off, you should get 4.97 off. And if it was let say 5.97 and you had a coupon for 5.00 off you would only get the allowed percentage off by the coupon, like it says 5.00 off. I hope this makes sense and don't forget to do your competive ads at WalMart, they should take 5% or even 10% off a competive price. You just need to show a current sale paper from another store and they should comp it and take some percentage off. I am very bitter with this store WalMart, but I will be willing to share my secrets with whoever. All have a great day and I hope this helps.

I had several coupons for 5$ off and bought those flameless candles at Walmart. The cashier scanned 5 candles and 5 coupons and I had no problems at all but nice Christmas gifts and a lovely conversation with the associate and other customers. :):):)
