I was excited to read in The Washington Post this morning that Giant Food (along with sister grocery store, Stop & Shop) will offer FREE generic antibiotics for customers with a prescription between January 2 and March 21. This includes those prescription medicines I seem to have filled often in the winter, including amoxicillin, penicillin and ciprofloxacin. What a great way to start the new year!

Kmart ads says they are giving free selected antibotics too
Publix gives free antibiotics year round.
Very cool. Please be cautious taking amoxicillan. It can cause serious diarrhea that has to be treated with heavy duty antibiotics. My granny had fatal complications due to it - c.difficle. Just a heads up if it irritates your tummy, don't take it.
Just like the woman in front of my post said...BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN TAKING ANTIBOTICS. CLYNDEMYCIAN(SPELLING) IS ONE OF THE MAIN CAUSES FOR C-DIFF WHICH IS A HIGHLY CONTAGIOUS DEADLY KILLER. Please make sure that you eat yougurt while taking your antibotics and you can start something called ALIGN while on antibotics. C-Diff is killing Americans in good health, not just the eldery. It causes major stomach cramps, explosive bowel movments up to but not limited to 50 a day. Not kidding! You have to take Flagil another antibotic to get rid of it.
If you get tested for CDIFF. There are support groups for it as sometimes it takes up to a year to get rid of. Drink lots of gatorade. Lomotil is a RX that slows down the gut and helps as well as pain meds and Bentil for the cramps.
Take probiotics daily. I take Align its over the counter and can be found at Costco for $24.99 a mth.

I wonder if this promotion works with the $25 GC w/ New or Xferred Rx coupon from last week's paper. Anyone know?
e-commerce is getting more and more popular. this creates the need of having good tools to help shoppers make right decisions while buying online. reizit.com is a place where shoppers can recommend or bury a product, share experience and discuss shopping deals.
