I still can't believe winter break here in Northern Virginia is a full two weeks this year. Wow. That noted, I'm definitely on the lookout for activities to keep my kids busy. So, I was thrilled to see Gina's post over at Mommy Making Money on how to get free bowling for up to 10 people at AMF Lanes just by signing up for the AMF eClub. Thanks, Gina!

Please call ahead to your local AMF center and find out what they are charging for shoe rental. I know in 2006 when I left AMF (former managger) we were charging $3.75 to $4.00 to rent a pair of shoes. This could get quite spendy. The coupon sent requires you to pay for your shoes and if you are looking to bowl more than one game find out what additional games cost. Bowling is expensive if you can not get in on a really good deal. I don't think this is the best one they have ran.
As of right now, most AMF centers are charging $4-5 for shoes. Ill also agree that 'for up to ten people' is one the weakest specials. Your local center may also have daily specials, so give them a call. Unfortunatley, prices vary from one center to the next.
