I was at the Today Show studio this morning with Coupon Mom Stephanie Nelson who did a great segment on “Thanksgiving on a Budget” with Matt Lauer. She did a great job and talked a lot about how to save big by pairing sales with coupons, including Shortcuts.com! You can check out the segment here or read the related online article called Cut Your Thanksgiving Costs in Half.
She and I got to the studio around 7:15 this morning and she was immediately whisked away to hair and makeup. The hair and makeup area was packed with Tony Bennett and his 18 member band. Band members were everywhere, and Tony Bennett was sitting about five feet from me!
Kathie Lee Gifford was also in and out of the makeup area. She wasn’t getting her makeup done yet, but mostly chatting with the staff. She seemed super nice. I also saw Jean Chatzky in the Green Room while I was waiting for Stephanie after her segment. I LOVE Jean Chatzky. I was so star-struck!
I’m headed back to Washington, DC in a few hours. It was a great trip and so fun to spend time with the Coupon Mom!

I saw her on while I was working out. It's nice to share how we can save money.
Sounds like you had tons of fun!
She did a great job! How cool for you, Erin!!
Hi Erin,
I want to thank you. I took your suggestion from one of your posts about contacting HARO. I've already been interviewed twice! I am hoping to get more specific interviews so that I can get my blog and retail website mentioned. Here is my latest:
