I’m excited to share with you today that I am part of ElevenMoms.com, a new money-saving community project sponsored by Walmart. At ElevenMoms.com you’ll find videos and tips to help you save money on everything from laundry to renting DVDs to gas usage. You’ll even learn how to start a coupon organizer and create a fashionable look for less, and will be able to upload your own videos and tips starting later this week.
My videos on ElevenMoms.com will keep the “Money Saving Minute” theme similar to the video I posted yesterday on saving money by only buying name brands. I’ll also be posting at least one “Money Saving Minute” video a week on my site too.
There are 12 fantastic money-saving moms involved in this project. Some you already know and I hope you take a moment to get to know the others. They’re all very smart and have impressed me with their energy and ideas.
Being Frugal: Lynnae has a popular frugal lifestyle blog and is now branching out into product reviews and eco-living tips, so check her out.
The “Cent”sible Sawyer: This mom-to-be, Denise, is a pro and has been focused on grocery tips and freebies from day one. Plus, she has the cutest southern accent!
Classy Mommy: This mom, Colleen, has a fabulous site with a ton of great product reviews. She is so full of energy you’ll just love watching her videos.
From Dates to Diapers: Christine is a mom of six kids under seven who also blogs on money-saving tips and even vlogs tips like how to save money on kids’ haircuts.
Deal Seeking Mom: Tara has the scoop on a lot of great deals, especially at CVS and Walmart, as well as the latest freebies.
The Domestic Diva: Heather is an experienced mom blogger with great product reviews and super tips on movie nights and making inexpensive smoothies!
Frugal Upstate: Jenn has tons of frugal advice, and from what I hear, she has a fabulous recipe for Oreo Cookie “Truffles!”
Geek Mommy: Lucretia is a mom who’s an expert on both saving money and social media who really knows her way around the Internet to find deals and new friends.
Jessica Knows: This mom, Jessica, is the Chief Mom Officer for social shopping site, Wishpot, and you’ve got to check out her famous Fall Fashion Find video.
Keeping the Kingdom First: Alyssa is a mom who hosts the weekly CVS $5 Challenge and who became famous with her not-to-be-missed coupon binder video.
Mom Advice: Amy is a real pro with an impressive bio. She writes a frugal advice column and even does a weekly frugal living segment with her local CBS station!

Thanks for all this information! Hey, who is your web host? Your site loads much quicker than others.
Thank you for the wonderful introduction, Erin!
You put my announcement post to shame! Thanks for the incredible post of introductions!
What a great intro post-thank you so much.
And yes, my oreo cookie truffles are not only decadently delicious, they are totally easy to make. trust me, once you make them you will have to make them every year.
Another great money saver is making your own laundry soap or toothpaste. My husband doesn't approve of the toothpaste, but we love the laundry soap!! I have made it for years. It is more effective than stuff sold in the store and super cheap and easy to make. Go to www.savemoneytoday.net for the recipe.
thanks for the great shout out and introduction to all of us! too nice. i need to do another intro now that i'm getting to know everyone better!
xo colleen :)
I read about this on Keeping the Kingdom First. I can't wait to see what you guys come up with.
I just love the way you did this! :)
Also really looking forward to working with you on this project! You rock!
