I tried this last night at 3 different Walgreens and none of them would take them. :( They said that corporate had e-mailed all stores saying they were putting a stop to this and not to take the coupons. I don't know how true this is, but in the past all of these store took them. I am hoping it's not true!
I had read on another blog site that Walgreens does not accept BOGO coupons with BOGO sale items so I have not tried it but sounds like that may be true.

I used my 2 bogo coupons on sunday with no problem. The manager who checked me out even commented on how I had my coupons down to a science. Wish I would of saved them for friday though, if they aren't already sold out.
I tried using mine tonight and they wouldn't let me use the BOGO coupon. I was told I couldn't use it unless I "bought" one first. I didn't feel like arguing it so I left.
I had this problem with another BOGO offer and the manager refused me as well. I call the complaint center and asked what the policy was and 20 minutes later I was receiving a call from the Walgreens manager apoligizing for any inconvenience... I went back :)
There is one way I found to get around Walgreens policy on the BOGO coupons with sale. You have to buy 4 items. You pay for the first one, but you get the other 3 for free. If you have a regular $1 off coupon then you can apply it to the first one you bought. This is still a great deal if your store has 4 of them since you will get $4 back from the rebate. You still end up getting them all for under $1.
CVS is the only store that allows BOGO coupons with a BOGO sale.
