Reminder: $5 Charity Challenge

A quick reminder that this week’s $5 Charity Challenge closes tonight at 8 p.m. ET. Just leave me a comment and you’ll be entered to receive a $5 gift card to spend toward charitable donations in your community. Take a look at what Andrea at Mommy Snacks was able to buy with her gift card last week for Target Dayton.

Want another opportunity to win a gift card to spend on your community? Check out BeCentsAble for their weekly Charity Challenge.

This is a great giveaway. Your post inspired me to write my own. I hope you didn't mind. Last week I was able to buy 18 bottles of Pert Plus and 6 Sure deodorants and had a negative 64 cent balance! I had to buy a candy to put my total over and paid 20 cents for all it (mostly the candy). Mine is going to the local women's shelter in my town. I will definitely participate in the next one. I hope to hold one soon (if you don't mind me borrowing the idea).

I would love to do this. There is a local food pantry that helped me out when we were in a time of need and i would love to be able to give back to them. I usually bring them any extras that I ahve as weel some of my many boxes of cereal I get during the deals that were goign on lately. i actaully have a box to got to them and would love to add some more goodies to it.
