I was just checking out Carlie at Why Ask Why… and it was like a ray of sunshine, or at the very least a glimmer of hope. Check out her post from earlier today and all the CVS in-store coupons she got on her register tape last night. She got EIGHT coupons!
After all my whining yesterday about how much the CVS in-store scanner stinks I’m so happy to see the possible revival of CRT and $/$$ coupons. Maybe the CVS powers-that-be have answered our pleas!
Here are the coupons Carlie got on her register tape last night:

I’m hoping this means they’ve reset the in-store coupons for the month. So tell me, have you been to CVS in the last 24 hours and gotten any really good in-store coupons either from the scanner or on your register tape?

I went about an hour ago. The scanner in my store was broken, and not a single coupon printed out with my receipt. How depressing.

I get the same yucky coupons as you. Certainly nothing to get excited about. But I am hopeful.... next time my just be my time!

At least you get coupons. In Kentucky none of the CVS stores have scanners. I am always envious that you get coupons. Your blog has been helpful thank's for your hard work.

I was at CVS last night. Didn't bother with the scanner, but I did have four CRTs show up when I checked out.
$3 Excedrin 50 ct. or larger
$2 Playskool Cottony Cloths 160 or 240 ct.
$3 Lumene
$2 L'Oreal Revitalift, etc.
Nothing spectacular, but hey...It's something!
Now, I haven't gotten a $/$$ in ages. It is reassuring to see that someone has.
My scanner gave me these:

$1 on 3 cards
Nice to see some coupons come out. Too bad I don't need any of these items!
I made 2 trips to different stores in Cincinnatitoday. The first trip I just bought a package of the towelettes for 2.99. I got CRTs of $10/$50 and the Excedrin $3/1.
I did the Olay and Dawn deals later and got no CRTs at all. The scanner gave me the same pretzel/cracker and paper towel coupons, same as the last 2 weeks.

Ooh, nice Excedrin coupon, Cheryl. Hold onto that one. Next week CVS is having a spend $20 on Excedrin, Maalox, Gas-X or Benefiber, get $10 ECBs deal. I went again tonight and got the same paper towel/nut one as before.
Just dropping in to say thanks for the link love :) AND - I went again yesterday afternoon to pick up some rainchecks and it gave me 5 more CRTS!! YEAH baby!! After this dry spell I'm definatly thankful!
