Summer Freebies 4 Kids: Lemonade Stands & More

School’s almost out and there are already loads of free activities to do with your kids this summer. Take a look at the good stuff below.

Set up a Lemonade Stand: Through Sunkist’s 5th annual Take a Stand program you can order a lemonade stand for your kids to set up and sell lemonade for a charitable cause.

Make Yummy Summer Meals: Get a free cookbook called Feed Our Kids Well from Ragu. What a fun way to spend time together!

Bowl Together: Select bowling centers are participating in the first ever “Kids Bowl Free” program. Children can sign up for two free games every day of the summer.

Watch Movies: Regal Cinemas kicks off the Free Family Film Festival this summer with free G & PG movies starting at 10 a.m. every Tuesday and Wednesday.

Read, Read, Read: The Imagination Library gives away books every month to children under five years old. Thanks Centsible Savings for this great tip! For school-agers, Barnes & Noble has a Summer Reading Program for kids in grades 1-6. Kids read 8 books this summer, complete a reading journal and get a coupon for a free book.

Thank you for the Tip on the Free Movie... Our Favorite Movie Theater does show it here in New Mexico, And the Great part is that Almost all the movies they are showing are my 8 year old daughters favorites.
